Overview

Verify.inc ("Verify", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our marketing site and users of our counterparty verification platform. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Analytics

We use PostHog to measure usage on our marketing pages (homepage, About, Product, and Demo). Analytics are only activated after you explicitly accept cookies via the consent banner.

What we collect

• Page views on marketing pages
• Click events on marketing CTAs (e.g. "Book a demo", "Start analysis")
• Basic device and browser information (browser type, OS, screen size)
• Referrer URL (the page you came from)
• UTM campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.)

What we do NOT collect

• Contract contents or uploaded document data
• Report contents or risk scores
• Party names, business names, or individual identifiers from contracts
• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Session recordings or screen captures
• Any data from non-marketing pages (verification workflow, results, etc.)

Cookies and consent

We use a single localStorage key (verify_analytics_consent) to record your consent choice. No tracking occurs before consent is given. You can revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.

Third-party services

We use PostHog (posthog.com) for analytics. PostHog processes data under their own privacy policy. Session recording and autocapture are disabled. PostHog only receives the data categories listed above.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. We do not sell, rent, or share analytics data with third parties for advertising purposes.
